A Premises Development Plan (PDP) is an essential prerequisite to planning any proposed extensions, alterations or improvements to an existing school.
The PDP is based on an objective comparison between the future premises needs of the school, in the form of a room schedule derived from a curriculum analysis, and the current building stock. By involving the end-users/client in this process a unique vision for the school’s future premises needs is agreed.
During the past fifteen years we have implemented hundreds of school projects with a combined value of over £50million. Many of these schemes have been delivered in the context of an agreed Premises Development Plan.
This has ensured best value is achieved, as investment opportunities have arisen, by avoiding abortive costs due to a lack of any long term vision for the school.
